This October 2011 edition of the Obra newsletter describes advances made by the program and its partnerships in the Caribbean, Central America, and South America. Building on foundational International Youth Foundation programs such as entra21, Obra worked to ensure youth at risk had improved access to the programs and services needed to prepare them for citizenship, work, and life.
