Alessa Caceres

Program Coordinator

Alessa joined IYF in 2025 as a Program Coordinator, bringing expertise in event planning, curriculum design, and cross-cultural program implementation from her three years at the International Research & Exchanges Board (IREX), where she supported global fellowship and leadership programs. Most recently, she spent a year in Madrid teaching English.

With work and study experience in Spain, Honduras, and Ecuador, Alessa is fluent in Spanish and passionate about creating inclusive, community-driven learning experiences. She holds a bachelor’s degree in International Studies and Spanish from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.
