Diego Gallon

Director, Compliance & Operations

Diego joined IYF in 2022 as an Award Manager for the Award Management Unit. In 2009, he joined the U.S. Peace Corps, serving as a Small Business Development Advisor in Nicaragua. There, he trained secondary education teachers in a life skills and entrepreneurship curriculum for youth. Since then, he has supported global development and humanitarian assistance initiatives,
with a focus on Latin America. As a Paul D. Coverdell Fellow, he worked closely with higher education systems to support first generation college students in Chicago and remains engaged locally by mentoring high school seniors. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Berry College and a Master of Science in International Public Service from DePaul University.
