Juana joined IYF in 2025 as a Program Coordinator, bringing to the organization her strong background in political science and human rights, along with her passion for social impact and community development.

With a degree in Political Science and Government and a specialization in Human Rights and Transitional Justice, she has developed a solid understanding of peacebuilding, gender equality, and social mobility—skills that enable her to effectively support programs that foster inclusion and positive change.

Born and raised in Colombia, Juana is fluent in Spanish and English and is currently learning French. She is deeply committed to advancing human rights and creating opportunities for communities to thrive. In her free time, she enjoys walking, traveling, and spending time with her loved ones.
