Judith Hermosillo

Senior Program Manager

Judith joined IYF in 2018 as a program officer for the Americas team. Prior to joining IYF, she worked with nonprofit organizations in Mexico, coordinating youth development programs, including the Órale initiative, which IYF created to support the employability of young people from underserved communities. During her coordination, this initiative was recognized by Ashoka as one of the Educational Innovations in LATAM.

Judith has also developed roles in communications for some local ONGs, working to elevate youth voices in the local newspaper and co-authoring the book Voces Compartidas / Shared Voices, which collects more than 100 interviews with social leaders from diverse backgrounds speaking to youth. Now she holds the role of Program Manager, supporting initiatives in the LATAM region from both the Mexico and Colombia offices. She holds a Master of Arts in Social Development with a focus in Youth Studies.
