Mary joined IYF in 2021 as the Director for Corporate and Foundation Partnerships. In this role, she is responsible for securing resources to carry out IYF’s mission and strategic priorities. Mary comes to IYF with 18 years of experience leading and facilitating revenue generation activities for a wide array of global institutions. Prior to joining IYF, Mary spent two years in Uganda leading the East Africa External Relations team at Educate. Before that, she spent seven years at Ashesi University Foundation facilitating and leading fund development activities. Mary grew up in Cote d’Ivoire and has extensive experience working on the African continent and in youth development. Mary earned bachelor’s degrees in International Relations and French at Seattle Pacific University. She has a Master of International Public Policy from Johns Hopkins’ School of Advanced International Studies.
