Mike joined IYF in 2026 as Chief of Staff to the Chief Operating Officer. In this role, he partners closely with the COO and executive leadership to advance strategic planning, strengthen organizational alignment, and drive cross-functional priorities that support IYF’s global mission.

Prior to joining IYF, Mike held leadership roles across the public sector, higher education, and mission-driven organizations, where he launched and scaled communications, operational systems, and stakeholder engagement programs. He began his career in the United States Marine Corps, an experience that continues to shape his leadership through a focus on service, accountability, and disciplined execution.

Across his career, Mike has been driven by a passion for helping organizations operate with care and purpose. He brings a background in strategy and storytelling, along with a commitment to learning and creative expression. Mike holds a Juris Doctorate from the University of the District of Columbia-David A. Clarke School of Law, a Master of Arts in Communication from Johns Hopkins University, and a Bachelor of Arts in English from Georgetown University.
