Tactic
Preparing institutions to teach future generations how to navigate and use AI.

Program Description
TACTIC helps technical and vocational education and training institutions integrate AI into the way they teach, operate, and prepare young people for work. Supported by Microsoft Philanthropies, the program works with faculty, staff, and institutional leaders across 9 countries and 3 continents.
Through the Global AI for TVET Institutions Training, participants can take credentialed courses in English, French, Portuguese, and Spanish, including:
- Introduction to Using Generative AI (Copilot)
- Using Microsoft 365 Copilot Chat to Prepare Lesson Resources
- Prompt Engineering – Using Microsoft 365 Copilot Chat to Reduce Your Workload
- Using Microsoft 365 Copilot Chat to Support Personalized Learning
These courses are paired with live webinars, student AI learning, and a global community of practice so institutions can apply AI in practical ways across teaching, student support, administration, and career preparation.
Change in Action
TACTIC helps TVET educators use AI to prepare lessons, develop student resources, personalize learning, and analyze assessment information, while staff can use it to streamline administrative work and improve student support.
The program is expected to engage more than 15,000 people in digital skilling and provide direct training to more than 4,500 learners and educators. By building AI skills within the institutions themselves, TACTIC helps TVET systems continue adapting as technology and workforce needs change.
