Strengthening Youth Opportunity in Rural America with LEAPS

Young people in rural America possess huge potential that’s often untapped—that needs to change.

LEAPS, a two-year initiative of BHP and the International Youth Foundation, creates partnerships with local organizations in West Texas (greater Midland/Odessa area) and South Texas (between San Antonio and Victoria) and Northwest Louisiana to equip the areas’ young people—ages 11 to 24—with the skills needed to succeed in school, work, and life and to become more engaged members of their communities.
