IYF equips youth with the resources, strategic guidance, and self-assurance needed to identify local challenges, develop innovative solutions, and drive meaningful impact. Through structured leadership development, hands-on learning, and access to funding and support networks, we help young people strengthen their agency and shape the future of their communities.
UP for Change
A participatory grantmaking initiative funded by the Oak Foundation that puts young people with learning differences in the driver’s seat. Through the UP for Change Leadership Program, youth manage a $600,000 fund to support more accessible, equitable educational environments. By driving funding decisions, monitoring projects, and sharing insights, these youth leaders have directly and indirectly reached 1,850 youth and supported 130 educators—proving that young people are not just participating in change, but defining it.
Burberry Inspire Program
Created in partnership with The Burberry Foundation, this global initiative uses creativity to unlock youth leadership and agency. Spanning 13 organizations across five regions, Burberry Inspire provides youth ages 10 to 24 with safe spaces, diverse programming—from the arts to STEM—and employee mentorship. By fostering self-expression and storytelling, this program equips young leaders to drive positive change in their communities and prepare for the future.
