Where We Work: Mexico

Through extensive experience and research, we are delivering solutions that connect disadvantaged young men and women in Mexico with in-demand skills and jobs and offer alternatives to dangerous activity.

Thanks to years of alliance building, we have a trusted network of public and private sector, academia, and civil society partners with whom we’ve achieved scale and sustainability. Here, through regional initiatives such as New Employment Opportunities (NEO) and EquipYouth and country-specific work like Youth:Work Mexico and Rutas, we've been equipping young men and women with the training to enter growth markets. In addition, two YouthActionNet® national institutes here have been empowering young social entrepreneurs with the mentoring, financing, and networking opportunities to grow their ventures and maximize their impact. Mexico stands among the 30 countries studied in the Global Youth Wellbeing Index.
